In December 2022, in the newly opened laboratory of "Distributed measurement systems and wireless sensor networks" of the Joint Lab IHP - UZ, the first classes for students of Computer Science took place. The classes were attended by both employees from the UZ (Piotr Powroźnik, PhD), as well as from IHP - Leibniz Institute for Innovative Electronics, Frankfurt (Oder) (Krzysztof Piotrowski, MSc, Krzysztof Turchan and Przemysław Zielony, MSc).
The aim of the classes was to familiarize students with the methods of programming the hardware platform of wireless sensor networks IHPNode using IHPOS services. The program code was implemented in the integrated programming environment (IDE) Code Composer Studio. The equipment base was the equipment of the new laboratory. In addition, for the purpose of conducting classes, IHP employees provided students with their proprietary hardware solution for the embedded system in the form of a set of IHPNode wireless sensor network nodes with accessories.
