The European university network Cooperation of universities in Central and Eastern Europe (CUCEE) was launched in May 2000. In addition to the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen the University of Zielona Gora, TalTech and the Lviv Polytechnic National University are among the CUCEE start-up universities.

In the meantime, the network has been expanded to include three partner institutions. The current CUCEE member universities are:

• University of Zielona Góra (Poland)
• Silesian University of Technology (Poland)
• Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine)
• TalTech (Estonia)
• Vilnius Gediminas Technical University - Vilnius Tech (Lithuania)
• Belarusian State Technological University (Belarus)
• Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (Germany)
